Tammi Fearin-Hickman

Director

Tammi is a dedicated professional with a passion for community involvement and social impact.

In 1999, Tammi’s heart was drawn to fill a crucial need in the community of Johnson County by becoming a CASA volunteer. Over the years of her volunteer service, Tammi immersed herself in all aspects of the program and was subsequently hired as Director in 2007.

Like all new leaders, the first few years can be challenging, but nature threw her the biggest challenge of all.  Johnson County was hit with a 100-year flood in 2008, and the office and its records were destroyed.

Tammi successfully rebuilt the program from the ground up within a few months while continuing to serve the needs of the children. Tammi has also navigated the CASA program through the peaks of record-high caseloads and the valleys of volunteer shortages.

Tammi also serves on multiple community teams and boards and is a 2008 graduate of Leadership Johnson County.
