ABOUT US

Mandy Anderson

Assistant Director

Mandy began her journey with Johnson County CASA as a volunteer in May of 2016 and quickly grew to love the work that the CASA Program does. In January 2020, she stepped into the full-time role of Administrative Assistant, working alongside the current director, and in February 2023 she was named Assistant Director of the Johnson County CASA Program.

Since beginning her journey with CASA, Mandy has personally advocated for the best interest of several of our county’s underserved youth and continues to personally advocate and work cases right alongside the volunteers in the trenches when needed.

Mandy has lived in Johnson County on and off all of her life, steadily for the last 17 years, and finally made Franklin her family’s permanent home in 2014, where she and her husband raised their daughter.

Since self-care is so important in this field, when Mandy is not hard at work advocating and assisting in leading the CASA Program, she enjoys all things nature, camping and travel. The beach, or anywhere near water for that matter, is her happy place.

Mandy is passionate about giving the underserved youth of our community a voice in court and is dedicated to bringing the value of volunteering back to Johnson County. She looks confidently forward to a day when every child in care has an advocate assigned and every child’s voice can be heard in court.
